Early Arrival

Please arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. You should have been e-mailed the door code for entry upon approval of your appointment request. All treatment sessions follow a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. Please use this time to help yourself to a complimentry beverage from the fridge, use the bathroom and enjoy the space before your appointment.

Late Arrival Policy

All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule therefore if late arrival is inevitable, your appointment may not receive extension past the scheduled booking time. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given due to late arrival, you will be responsible to pay for the full session. In special cases, and if my schedule will allow, I may be able to accommodate an extension.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please give me 24 hours notice. If you haven't given me at least 24 hours notice on a second late cancellation occurence, you will be charged a $50 Late Cancellation Fee and will be unable to make any further bookings until the payment is fulfilled. If a third late cancellation occurence happens, you will be charged a Late Cancellation Fee and will be unable to make future bookings without pre-paying for services. If an emergency situation arises, please let me know by phoning or text so that I can treat your specific situation with personal attention. I recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) I am sympathetic to unforeseen circumstances and may make exceptions to these rare cases on an individual basis. Thank you for your understanding.

no show policy

If you do not provide any notice and do not show up to your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50 No Show Fee and will be unable to make any further bookings until the payment is fulfilled. If a second no show occurence happens, you will be charged a No Show Fee and will be unable to make future bookings without pre-paying for services. I will be unable to direct bill for pre-payment of services. (You will be provided a receipt that you are able to submit to your insurance only after the treatment is provided.) Thank you for your understanding.

informed consent and policy and procedure acknowledgment

At the time of your first booking, you will be directed to my website to review my policies and procedures as well as been sent an electronic copy of the Intake and Consent Form to sign and return. The signed form is your acknowledgement and agreement to the policies in place. If you are unable to provide a returned electronic copy prior to your appointment, you will need to review and sign a paper copy upon arrival at the studio before we begin your appointment. Please arrive early a few minutes extra early to your first appointment if you need to fill out the paper copy.

gaurdian consent

Any person under the age of 18 is required to have a parent or legal guardian sign the Intake and Consent Form before the begining of their initial visit appointment.

scope of practice

I am registered and insured under Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and will adhere to Natural Health Practitioners of Canda "Code of Ethics" and "Standards of Practice for Massage Therapy”.
